A workspace will be created for the company and you will receive a message. To open the workspace, click the link in the message or simply log on to your account on the https://cloud.kaspersky.com portal. Web portal uses port 8080, so make sure that you have this port opened.

When opening a workspace for the first time, you need to accept additional agreements and specify proxy server parameters if there are any. Accept the license agreement of Kaspersky Endpoint Security for Windows. It is to be done only once. Later, you will connect computers without any agreements. Kaspersky Endpoint Security Cloud uses proxy server parameters to connect to the management server. If computer cannot connect to the Internet directly, and you have not configured proxy server parameters in the workspace, you will not be able to connect Kaspersky Endpoint Security to the management server.

Finally, accept the Kaspersky Security Network agreement.

To download the Kaspersky Endpoint Security package to an endpoint:

Navigate to the “Distribution packages” and click “Download” button next to “Kaspersky Endpoint Security 11 for Windows”. It will take some time to download about 220MB.
Run this package on your endpoint(s). This will install the protection component and, in about 5 minutes, it will appear in the web management console, “Devices”.

To change security settings you can navigate “Security profiles”.

To assign different security profiles to different computers, you have to create “Users” and assign devices to these users. After that, you will be able to assign different security profiles to different users if you need.

You must have Kaspersky Security Center installed on your admin computer in order to use above services.

3 Steps total

Step 1: Create administration group.

- Go to 'Managed Computers' > 'Create' > 'Group'. OR
Go to 'Managed Computers' > 'Create a subgroup'.

- Enter a name for the group in 'Group name' window. Click OK.

- Go to 'Unassigned computers' > 'Domains' on the left. Select your domain name from the list.

- Select devices you want to manage (use Ctrl+device name to choose multiple devices).

- While devices are selected, Click on 'Add group' on the right column.

- Select relevant folder in the 'Select group' pop-up window. and Click 'OK'.

Step 2: Installing an application remotely

After you have number of computers in Manager computers group, follow the steps below.

- Click on 'Remote installation' in the console tree on the left. Select 'Start Remote Installation Wizard' from the options on the right.

- Select installation package you want to install in 'Select installation package' window.

- Click 'Next' and Follow the wizard's instructions.

- Add admin user id and password in 'Selecting accounts to access the computers' window.

- Click 'Next' & finish the wizard.

Step 3: Check the status of installation that has been started in previous step.

- Go to 'Manage Computers' on the left and select the group you want to chack the status for.

- Select 'Tasks' tab on the top.

- Click on any of the task from the list. the status will be displayed on the right.

Some of the client computers will require restart at the end of the installation. You can check if it is the case in above step-3.
